Who is StoryOps for?
StoryOps is for PR agencies and in-house communications teams monitoring people, brands and organisations. Separate workspaces help keep each client's or brand's coverage and analysis together.
What media sources can I monitor?
StoryOps supports configured news and RSS feeds, web coverage, X, Reddit, Bluesky, Lemmy, YouTube and TikTok. Review sites and Irish or UK parliamentary records are available where configured. Availability depends on your connected sources and setup; LinkedIn and Substack are not currently native sources.
What does AI add to media monitoring?
AI helps turn collected coverage into an assessment you can review: recurring themes, sentiment, trends and potential reputational risks. It helps you understand the story across individual mentions and identify what may need closer attention.
Can I check the sources behind the analysis?
Yes. The underlying coverage and documents remain available for inspection, and coverage reports link back to their sources. AI-assisted findings are starting points for your team's review and judgement.
Can I share reports and coordinate a response?
Yes. Build source-linked coverage reports for colleagues or clients. When an issue needs a response, keep evidence, decisions, internal tasks and saved response versions together. External reviewers can comment through an expiring review link without a StoryOps account.
Can StoryOps replace our current monitoring tool?
That depends on the sources and coverage you need. StoryOps combines monitoring and AI analysis in one workspace. A walkthrough is a good way to check your source requirements and see how it fits your team's reporting routine.
